A few weeks ago, I spent a few days in Canada. It was freezing! And I jumped in Lake Louise at 4 degrees Celsius (That's 39.2 degrees Fahrenheit). It was a very proud moment of mine as many of the staff say that they only see this from Scandinavians, but I am from America, how can I this be? Well, training, for one by taking 3-minute ice baths and by taking cold showers pretty frequently, and well, of course, jumping into the ocean sans a wetsuit! Find out more about it here: https://www.wimhofmethod.com. These cold experiences do not come easy to me, but there is a definite pay off by investing in ourselves, we invest in our well being overall. I will say, that after jumping into the Lake, I felt much happier, at ease, and relaxed. I did not take a shower to warm up either or need a warm beverage. It was magical. I highly recommend this to anyone who is adventurous and in need of healing. Lake Louise is filled with minerals and very healing to the mind, body, and soul. Remember to breathe and exhale!
