Yesterday, I decided to go on a walk in a suburban neighborhood outside of LA while on a brief visit there. First, it was a walk, then it turned into a hike, then a voyage through unchartered territory including streams, interesting vines and plants, ospreys overhead, and winding trails that I did not know if and when I would come out of. It was fun to explore and let me soul lead the way; it felt so refreshing and energizing. It's nice to get lost in nature (as long as you somewhat know where you're going) and journey on to a new place. I felt like a little kid again, walking over logs and looking for fish in the ponds and streams. What a wonderful way to end the year.
