Malibu

Last year, during the last week of 2024, I spent time at a rental property on the beach in Malibu. I was very grateful for this experience as a week later, was affected by the fire in numerous ways. Many churches, hikes, and homes I spent time in burnt down. The beauty and gift of it all was I had the opportunity to say goodbye nearly a week before it all unfolded. I am so grateful and lucky and blessed to have God on my side today and get to have one incredinle amazing experience walking on the beach, finding starfish, and even baby starfish, amongst other beautfiul sea creatures like sea slugs! We got to go to Sunlife Organics and celebrate New Years Day on the beach in Zuma.

My son and I took a long walk / jog on the beach, nearly four miles which took over an hour and we played with seaweed, while walking up mini sand dunes and connecting with great people on the beach. It was such a gift to get to do this at the beginning of 2025. Thank God for this experience and a chance to savor the beauty of SoCal and this region of the earth. Thank you for grace and praise God for his goodness to all humanity!!!!
